Greetings • Greetings From The General Co-Chairs It is our great honor to invite you to the 10th annual Workshop on Information Security Applications 2009 (abbreviated as WISA 2009). We, the general co-chairs of WISA2009, would like to express our warmful gratitude and great appreciation of the financial support we could get for WISA2009 from MOPAS (Ministry of Public Administration and Security) and KCC (Korea Communications Commission) of Korea.
The goal of WISA is to provide an open forum for presentation of novel and high-quality researches representing the latest R&D results and its applications in information security. In our coming years characterized by the ubiquitous or pervasive computing, the role of the information security and its applications will be of utmost importance in preventing ourselves from side effects such as cyber crimes, abuse, privacy violations, etc. and in building our trustworthy society over the cyber space.
The success of the WISA2009 solely depends on your strong interests and active participations in this workshop. The future of the coming WISA's also highly depends on the everlasting support by you and your colleagues.
Busan, where WISA2009 takes place, is the 2nd largest city in Korea and is very proud of many beautiful beaches and comfortable resorts along its coastline.
